When you sign up for this site, you agree to these terms of service. Don't worry, they're simple, and most of it is here to make sure you're comfortable with using this service.

Your information

You're going to be putting your personal information into this site. Any content you upload or enter, including but not limited to images, photographs, writings, audio or video recordings, and presentation slides, is your responsibility. We cannot be held responsible for any views expressed in your content.

It's extremely important for you and for us that you only enter or upload content that you personally hold the rights to distribute. We'll immediately disable your account if another entity can prove to us that you have posted copyrighted, trademarked, or patented information.

Profiles

The whole point of this site is to track debts and credits. Anything you enter into a profile will be available on the Internet, so you need to watch out for a couple of things.

• First, your personal information could be scavenged by bots or spammers, or even telemarketers. We're not responsible if you get a whole ton of new messages in your inbox after you put your profile online.
• Second, you should know that your content could be stolen and misused. Some people think it's okay to use images they find on the Internet. If someone snags your awesome photo and uses it on their website without crediting you, it's up to you to go after them. We can't be held responsible. If this concerns you, mark your profile as private.

Since your profile is private, we'll do whatever we can (within reason) to protect your data from unauthorized users. Unfortunately, accidents happen. There's no guarantee we don't have bugs in our code. This is a beta, after all.

Data retention

We'll do everything in our power to make sure your data is backed up. However, you should be sure you have your files backed up on your own. Sometimes disasters happen, and if they do, our hands are tied, especially when it's not our fault. We can't be responsible for data loss of any kind. You use this service "as is.".
